Christmas 2010 !!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It is genuinely hard to believe but this year is about done. Whew! What a year ….
All Is Calm

Dark Matters Radio began broadcasts back in January on CyberstationUSA, running 5 nights a week. During the past year not only DMR but also CyberstationUSA have both experienced technical problems during the year. The last couple of weeks have also proven that sometimes you can’t predict what is gonna happen. DMR, except for re-broadcasts, have been off the “air” because of technical problems. CyberstationUSA was experiencing power problems in their hdqts. building, and the owner was not co-operating on getting the problems solved. The Upshot? CyberstationUSA/Cameo Ent. was forced to move operations to another spot and have been setting up the new operations and we hope we will be back on schedule in a week or so. However … the good news is that on Friday, December 24, Vicious Vinyl will have a brand new Christmas Show on Christmas Eve! At this time of year my thoughts will drift back to my early 20′s when I was a young soldier serving in SE Asia during the Viet Nam war. I recall those longing feelings I had when I was so far from my family and my loved ones. Today we have many hundreds of thousands of young men and women serving overseas protecting our homes and way of life. I am positive that they feeling those same emotions I felt in my war while so far away. Let me ask you to say a prayer for their safe return to family and loved ones. And if God wills it, May Peace Reign!
 
Looking forward to the show Don, hope DM can start broadcasting soon again.

This board is different from any board I have been on. Unlike so much that is internet fluff this one will challenge you. I have had my most cherished beliefs challenged. I have had to think of things that made me uncomfortable. I've had to honestly challenge myself about what I have always assumed or believed to be reality. All in all I'm thankful for that. It lets you know what you really think and makes you honest with yourself and God/Universe/Ground of being or simply your own reality. I'm thankful for it and a little apprehensive about it at times. So, Merry Christmas to the Paracast and the forum.

And what a great year its been. i think i listened to every show going, some multiple times. When i was laid out in hospital after an 8 hour operation to reconstruct my nose, i had to lie there for about 12 hours on my back.
Luckily I had brought along my iphone, with about a weeks worth of DMR that i had saved, and the night went from being hideously boring, to thoroughly enjoyable.
I think the morphine and tramadol they gave me helped as well. :D

I'll second that. Many an hour has been spent listening to the shows and I appreciate their efforts to make them all available.
