I've suspected for a long time that some sort of fundamentalist uprising was just the excuse the NWO needed to forward the plan.

That's a little chicken-and-egg though. See, this is why I'm not 100% sold on the whole NWO thing: 90% of the chatter about it is coming from extremist, nationalistic right-wing types, who would naturally see ANY decline in US power and global integration as the work of some elite cabal of bogeymen rather than the natural progression of history.

What does the views of others have to do with the "whole NWO thing" though in reality? It's either going on or not. It's either a "conspiracy" or an ideology. Whom is saying what should not effect what YOU think is going on.

Kind of what I am saying is because you don't like "so and so" doesn't mean they are wrong, but just likely disagree with the methods and aspects of what they are saying.

That's a closed set of viewpoints though, both sinister, only one slightly less so. What makes you think globalism wasn't inevitable? It seems to me increasingly to be the case but I'm unwilling at present to declare it as either a planned route or merely the weight of history with it's contradictory pursuit of continous expansion of trade on a finite planet.

Guys like Norris represent to me a group that is not simply conservative or libertarian but decidedly obstructionist, regressive even. Social luddites, if you will. They've gone beyond patriotism and are straying dangerously towards nationalism. They seem to think the scythe of history that cut down Alexander, the romans and the british will somehow pass over the american empire and leave it untouched and that any indications to the contrary represent a vast and devious conspiracy, rather than the ultimate end of all great powers: to rise, to hold power and to fall. They're yelling into the wind... they're just yelling really, really loud.

I'm not anything with an ist or ism at the end. I like the idea of the gub'ment staying on their side of the fence. I don't like fightin' but I keep my guns loaded.
