It's a "Spider Web" reflecting sunlight to the camera lens. I've seen this on my home security camera over the summer and went to investigate, found the web stretched across the cameras view. Once you realize it's a web, then the movement makes sense, as the camera moves or the wind blows, the light glint moves with it. @39 secs, you can see a line behind it, thats the rest of the web not a con-trail. It's kind of funny how he seems to be searching for the "ship" with the zoom, but what he's really doing is looking for the web. He knew what he was doing.
* Side note: While watching that awful new James Fox show, he said his favorite piece of evidence was a YouTube video similar to this, where you see a cylindrical white blob moving in a straight line back and forth, and small fly type objects zooming around it, all at a similar looking corner of a house as this one. I sat there and said "thats a spider's web with gnats flying in front of the lens." This footage may be from the same A-hole. I've been waiting months to pass this knowledge on. Thanks for the opportunity.

Ron, have you checked out 'AnonymousFO.com' - they claim to be a site giving month-by-month best checked out UFO vids worldwide. They claim to check out vids as much as possible both technically and the provenance and it certainly looks a great site. I've seen loads of impressive vids. I am certain there is lots there not at all fake - whether it's 'UFOs' as we 'want' it or other phenomena it's the best site I've found to find good new, vids.
Check it out Ron and if you think it's any good we can bring it to the forum.

Insufficient evidence, but it looks like a another video I saw a few years back.
I wouldn't be surprised if they recycle these videos.

- Aircraft contrail in the distance illuminated by the sun.
- Rocket
- No maneuvers indicating technology beyond our own.
- No speed that seems beyond our own technology

Yea, i see that. It's a tricky one.
I'm not getting the spiders web thing although I know this happens, also I understand the whole vapour trail thing too and I suppose if there were clouds obscuring the sun out of shot, with a 'hole' in those clouds, it could be possible for only a section of vapour trail to be highlighted and with cloud movement, the lit section could appear to move.
On the other hand, it really does look like a cigar-shaped object moving off at speed.
Has anyone heard of any independent corroboration of this - even if it's just a witness report?

It appears to me that there are so many ufo videos now that nobody ever does any real investigation on them. It seems back in the 90's or 80's a video like this would be followed up on but not today. In fact it doesnt seem anyone in ufology even cares about evidence phyical or video or testimony. There is so much of it we are being drained to the max with it because of youtube, facebook etc.
All I know about the video is its from Arlington TX. Can it be a landing plane? possible but I am no pilot.
Its the quagmire of ufology that after the ufo is seen it leaves and there is no way to find out what it was.
