UK and AMERICA are currently trying and failing to withdraw fully from Afganistan , they cannot afford another war if they even tried , they only way they will be able to fight iran in the next 5-10 years is on an economic basis ,Iran isn't a super power , but it has a modern army/navy/airforce , a war against Iran would be suicide for western powers .
Factors of why Iran would win:
-Gulf Oil totally frozen from entering the world market
-Israel Blockaded and NATO ammunitions unable to supply NATO forces in the middle east
-NATO forces over-run in Afganistan and Iraq because of lack of supplies
-Islam Militia's rising up across the Middle East

Under the new nuclear arms treaty with Russia , the USA cannot use a nuclear weapon on a country that does not have a conventional nuclear arsenal , if america did , russia would pull out of this treaty and support its neighbour and friend "Iran".
