Today (Friday July 16) I am working to arrange DMR for this eve after a complete computer failure with my regular broadcast computer. It "blew" on me yesterday and at this point is near death.

I pulled my old desktop out, after not having used it for over a year ... which means I had to do quite a bit to get it usable for continuing on with the show. Last eve I had scheduled Greg Bishop who along with Rich Sarradet planned to do a round table. We should be on for tonight however so I hope you can tune in.

My laptop currently is down for the foreseeable future. Rich is bringing over some Linux discs and we are going to attempt to recover some files I need before I take it to the shop. Just wanted to drop a note here and keep all of you informed on what is happening.

Good luck and remember, backups are important! There is a company called Backblaze. (Online Backup from Backblaze) only $5 per month or $50 for a year and the stream is encrypted. $50 a year is cheap for peace of mind.

For my desktop iMac, and my son's MacBook, we use CrashPlan - Automatic Online Backup for Home, Business and Enterprise for offsite backups. We bought the Family Plan. I also have an offsite backup in force for our Web server. You can never have too few backups.
