This is a fascinating Russian cartoon. I'm inclined to suspect that the person who made it has either had a paranormal experience or was at least familiar with reports of the phenomenon.

That's pretty cool.

That's class. Kind of shows you just how alien the alien could be. The part where he imagined the bird in a cage, showing how he viewed other spiecies - he thought of subjugating the other, the alien, the "lesser" intelliegences - and when he is presented with something which may be of a "higher" intelligence (most certainly completely and utterly different), he sees it as trying to subjugate him.

Is there any Truth (with a capital "T") in this film? I think there is.

In a sense, is the wacky space brothers scenario of the contacties of the 1950s more desirable as a strange form of communication than the dark abduction/government cover-up scenario, as a form of communication? I know what I'm trying to say, but it's hard to put it into words...

Inter species communication may actually be one of the hardest things to get right. Think about it. Is there any other species on earth that we can communicate with on an equal footing?
