One thing that is not covered is that part of the reason the way things are they way they are, is that some people are greedy and some not. No matter what system is in place, greedy people will seek to have more than others.

I absolutely would never get to the end of my life having lots of money doing no good. I've always said if I won the lottery I'm giving half of it away to causes I like. I could care less about fast cars, big houses and jewellery. Might buy a few nice guitars tho....

I get pretty depressed looking at this kind of stuff. I'm not violent but I may well volunteer for the firing squads for the bankers....'With a magazine of 30 rounds....load'.

There are some things not covered here in this first one I agree and I also see what you mean in regards to greed.

But we have to start some place and start trying to build a new system as the old one falls apart....... it is now a matter of when not if.

I am looking at this time as a sort of R&D phase where we can talk about what not to do next time around.
 
That's a good point. How can we get to there from here? How does a global society set about changing everything?
A depressing view is that for instance, when Communism came to the Soviet Union, it was supposed to be about fairness and the abolishment of class etc but all that happened is that the greedy people either joined the party or went black market!

Greed finds a way unfortunately.
