Yeah, I know. Don't call the Silly Police. Couldn't help myself. My dog was running around snapping at invisible flies. I thought it was cute and snapped some pics and wudda-you-know...I got an orb. The thing I thought was interesting about this pic was the apparent motion-blur the orb is leaving. Can this be explained by the flash hitting dust?

David can bottom line this but yeah, typical orb. Note the diffused blue tinge around the edges of the orb? See the same blue tinge around the reflection of the flash in the pup's eyes? It's just the flash.
 
I dunno. I wouldn't be worrying about an orb when a puppy was staring at me like that with its little beady eyes, sharp canine teeth, and licking his lips. He might be aiming for your nose. Back up--before you don't have one!

i had an almost identical one in a picture recently at least 3 rings, ive always been happy with the explainations that cover this stuff
