So i am really confused right now. I was looking through youtube and saw a video that said the Bangles sang eternal flame. The problem with this is i clearly remember that it was debbie gibson who sang that song. I can remember watching the video and everything as a child. There are a few sites that say that debbie gibson did sing eternal flame but the majority of them say it was the bangles. So you ask what does this have to do with the paranormal. Heres the thing this is not the first timr that i have remembered something diffrently than it is now. I could have swore i remember someone dieing and than i find out they are not dead. has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a name for it.

Well ive figured that much out already im just trying to see if anyone else has had these kinds of things happen. I can vividly remember This one and just used it as an example. I also had this happen with John Goodman. I could have swore he died i even remember seeing a whole episode of larry king about it but of course hes not dead.

Hmm. I don't want to be a jerk so I'll just say that's..unusual. I mean, memories and recollection are funny like that, but remembering a John Goodman remembrance show on the news that never happened is strange.
 
Ive looked into it a little. Its not a completely unheard of phenomenon. Alot of people have experienced the same sort of thing happening. Im just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this themselves as well.

fwiw there is a subreddit on this phenomena /mandelaeffect

it's hit me a few times but tbh I can't remember the specific instances.
