Skilled Investigator
Hi folks,

Just wanted to share some thoughts on an author and book I have nearly finished.

The Alien Intent, a dire warning, by Raymond A Robinson.

I am not a big reader but I had never heard of this guy so I thought I would give it a go. I'm gonna cheat here and paste in a brief synopsis from somewhere else because I have a specific point I want to get to.

QUOTE
Imagine yourself helpless and paralyzed, a strange creatures whisk you to a spaceship where they conduct painful experiments. More and more people claim to have experienced this, and we ignore them at our peril. This in- depth investigation of alien life on Earth sounds a warning for humankind: a threatening presence is here. Start with a look back at UFO history, and some of the earliest cases of unexplained kidnappings. Find out about hoaxes, UFO "hot spots", disappearances, investigations, and alien children. Go through an incredible variety of alien types described by abductees, and the messages they sent via these subjects. See how our hardware may owe something to captured alien technology, and get scientific explanations for how their spacecraft work. Former military men and scientists also spill the beans on our sometimes bungling efforts to understand these extraterrestrial systems. Most important, you'll get theories for why these beings have come to our planet, what they're trying to get from us, and above all: whether they and humans can co-exist. You'll begin to wonder if Earth is big enough for both of us...

The thing I wanted to mention was that under a section titled Deaths and Disappearances, within chapter 8. The mysterious deaths of 22 British scientists involved in various sensitive projects in the 1980's is brought up. It seems that many of these guys were possibly working on secret Star Wars projects for the US at the time of their deaths.

This was all news to me, though I do actually remember one of the incidents coming up on the news at the time but never gave it any more thought.

I found all this very intriguing, and then got to thinking about the rather suspicious passing of Dr David Kelly, around the time of the Iraq war. Some of you may recall he was the weapons expert involved in the so called governments "sexing up" of what they pushed as Iraq's weapons capability. Anyway that whole episode stank IMO, and to this day I cannot believe more hasn't been done to really find out what went on there. No actually scratch that I can believe it, and more has been done though the whole thing has yet to be resolved.

If you managed to get through all that then this next link even bigger but more interesting,

The part I was most interested in is titled
Defence death linked to UKUSA projects, about two thirds down the page.
A little further down is another interesting section titled, Real uses of SDI.

I was lucky enough to have a chat with Schuyler last night, and we spoke about all this and his very sound advice was to maybe do a little digging which is what I'm doing I guess I just thought you all might find this stuff interesting and I would like to hear your thoughts.

Interesting post, Dusty, thanks for those links.

This subject fascinates me as well, yet I've read woefully little about it.
I did find this on book on Amazon, which may be of interest...

A good friend of mine (with very close links to the highest ears in the land!) is convinced that Dr Kelly was murdered...and, would you believe, Lady Diana. But let's not go there!

My primary reading list is ufological in flavour so on turning to this subject I had hoped that a red-hot researcher had studied these deaths and had published their findings somewhere. But I can't seem to find anything. Am I holding this internet-thing properly? Am I looking down the right end?

(BTW, I know Jim Marrs dips into this stuff occasionally but I have great difficulty getting past Marrs', er, personality and his "good ol' boy" routine. Am I too prejudiced? Is he a good researcher? All I know is that he runs with those Coast 2 Coast yahoos a little too much for my liking and doesn't seem to mind coming home in the early hours reeking of crazy.)

Doctors demand inquest into death of Dr David Kelly

A group of 13 doctors who believe that Dr David Kelly, the Government scientist, did not commit suicide, but was murdered, are launching a legal campaign to demand an inquest.

Edit: There is an hour video on Google Videos about Dr. Kelly.. Link:

Thanks for that Loose leaf,

Like you, what little I do read is ufological and I tend to swerve a lot of conspiracy type stuff, (I worry enough) but I will take your tip and get that book about David Kelly, and will let you know what it's like.

Also some of the other stuff on that second link looks interesting and worth a read and I thought your quip about, coming home reeking of crazy is such a good line I'm gonna use that as a lyric somewhere, again will let you know. :)

Thanks,

Mark

Hey cyberknight,

Thanks to you also, I have to go to work now but I cant wait to check all that out.
Gonna be a long day now. Great timing though, not a drummer are you? :)

Mark, no... I did try out drums when I was in Jr High, I just couldn't get the hang of it.

I did think that your post and the timing of the telegraph.co.uk article was a very interesting coincidence. I wonder if they're reading the Paracast forum?

Yeah talk about synchronicity, and thanks for the heads up on all that.

I watched the video and even though it seemed to me to end with the evidence presented leaning towards Dr Kelly's genuine suicide. I still think it very likely that it wasn't his intent, guess we will have to wait a little longer.

Anyway today I listened again to this show;
https://www.theparacast.com/podcast...termacher-patrick-mcdonough-and-robert-salas/

At around 1 hour 39 mins, Robert Hastings says something along the lines of.
In all the years of research into various peoples experiences, and later treatment (for want of a better way of saying it). He had only ever come across one person, who after relating what they knew, had been in his words, leaned on.

The guy he mentioned, Chet lytle (sorry if that's the wrong name, but that's what it sounded like). Interviewed in 1998, was and maybe still is a civilian engineer who told amazing stories of UFO's over US weapons sites.

In light of what this thread is about, does anybody think that civilians may in some way be viewed as softer targets than those connected with the military?

I really liked Rule by Secrecy and Alien Agenda.

I think he's a good researcher, but he has a style, as seen in his book about the posts at the Above Top Secret forum, where he'll present data or ideas, and not really make a judgement on them, or just throw around ideas. He said that he thinks some of the stuff is probably nonsense, but figured that if enough people are talking about something, it's worth at least looking at and making your own mind up about it.

I don't buy everything he says, but I think some of it is interesting.
