The report failed to mention whether the object was at 8,000 feet above sea level, (about 3,000 feet over Denver) or 8,000 feet above ground level. Three thousand would we stretching things for a hobby RC aircraft and 8,000 would be almost impossible. Best bet is a surveillance drone flown too close to air traffic.
