Week 2 – 2011

Jan.10, 2011

Dark Matters Radio Archives
Week 2 of 2011 is upon us and my first show of the week is with a return appearance of Mr. Nick Redfern. Nick has a brand new book out “The NASA Conspirancies: The Truth Behind the Moon Landings, Censored Photos, and the Face on Mars”. I have read the book and even though I am very familiar with topics like the Moon landings, censored NASA photos and the “Face”, Redfern has managed to penetrate some extremely interesting corners in NASA. This is a must read if your interests are like mine. For more information on The NASA Conspiracies
Tuesday – Friday TBA

The internet radio went down on me dang it.

I guess I'll have to wait for this one to appear in the archives:

*Thanks for keeping those archives up Don. I love 'em.

Anaximander,

Not just you Buddy, when I came back from the 1st break we had a systems wide failure. Live365 just died on us. Don't worry though, Nick and I plan to finish this later in pre-recorded fashion.

Hey Don,

So, my first post and it's a whine. What kind of rinky dink outfits you hooked with? First it's down for three weeks....three weeks. And then I finally get to listen live for the first time and it goes down again? Sheesh. I looked at the Facebook Page and this is their description, "CyberStationUSA.Com is truly the standard by which all other emerging online radio stations compare themselves to." Well, I would too. It's not hard to be better than that.

And I tune in tonight and another repeat? That ain't no way to run a railroad.

Love the show.

Okay, first off .. the Network had to re-locate their ops. It is in Boston Mass. in the middle of winter. They worked damn near 24/7 to get things back in operation. The staff is small and they go from early AM till my show goes off at 3:00 AM their time! I honestly do not know how they do it and that is the damn truth.

LIVE365 seems to have been the problem the other evening. It died on my end and after trying to re-boot the damn thing it still did not come back up. Yesterday I downloaded the new Beta version of LIVE365 and today will be working to get it geared up to do the show. Sometimes technology sucks when it goes tits up. Bottom line is we are all working to get this thing back in action and dumping on CyberstationUSA doesn't help anybody. Geeze! Do you think they don't want this to go with no problems?

Hey, it's my right as a single, middle aged man with a cat to dump on things.;-) I don't mean to dump on them. Sounds like a real mess. But Don, three weeks? Can you imagine if a terrestrial radio network was down for three weeks? Yikes. Lucky it happened during the holidays. I'm surprised they didn't have a backup plan in place for such unforeseen circumstances.

Believe me, I know all about technology sucking. I'm a computer consultant and have long known that is something can go wrong it will. And when it does, it will defy you to fix it.
