I should also point out that he has both ADD and sleep apnea, neither of which he treats, so it's possible these things are part of a vicious cycle. He spends his days chronically fatigued while spending his nights with the TV on and frequently awakening to fidget with other gadgets.
None of my business, but this is not good. My wife was in a bad way with chronic sleep apnea before finally deciding to have it diagnosed and treated. After which she felt better than she had in years.
The internet is my video drug of choice. I will occasionally doze with a movie or whatever on. But not often.
While I don't think I'm going to go Stoney's route and commit electronic homicide I can say that I haven't fallen asleep in front of a tv in decades, I do on occasion fall asleep asleep listening to the radio.
