Mike, I find it really strange in this abduction phenomena that some people report almost being made to feel calm by the entities - they tell them telepathically that everything is ok etc.
And then there are those that report as you have. Terror of the first order.

Talking about my own weird 'abduction' thing, it was preceded directly by the most utterly wide awake OOBE - the scientist in me tells me the brain creates our reality so that reality can in theory be anything. But there is an equally if not larger part of my mind that says to me that it did happen and I was as functional and aware as I've ever been. The OOBE felt calm. Seeming to wake amongst many other abductees and 'feeling' aliens behind me, I felt nervous that they would notice I was awake but had no terror or placid calm in terms of the whole deal. Go figure!
As voyager and many others have said, this whole UFO/ET thing is probably far, far more weird than we can possibly know. A bit like imagining another dimension. You just cannot do it.
