Is it just me or are the latest documentaries just repeating past shows and not providing any new information. I remember Chris mentioning a few times in the past. I mean damn man is this all there is to offer? I am not going to name names. What I would like to know is with a billion websites and the information highway growing every day can't someone come up with a reality type show (only serious) in investigating these types of claims, calls, etc. I know many have failed but if someone can do a southern ghost hunting show then why can't someone do a ufo broadcast? I am loosing faith real fast.

UFOs are elusive and rare and they don't follow any director's schedule. We may never see a decent UFO video in our entire lives. But just because we don't see it on TV doesn't mean it's not real. So forget about TV and the Internet and spend more time watching the sky. IMO you'd have a greater chance of seeing something worth watching anyway. Besides, if someone does get something good onto the mass media, you'll be sure to hear about it, and then you can watch all the replays you want. In the meantime the Internet serves to provide some decent background info and networking between people interested in the topic. Last but not least, looking up at the stars on a clear night also tends to have a restorative effect on one's faith.

I agree for the most part. However to gain support it takes involvement and money. Remember I said serious show. It doesn't disclude the fact that there is no new information for the public that can be attained through simple means. You can cram the idea that everyone should do things in a certain manner, however you will only turn them away. Some say go out and investigate yourself, I agree partially and remember not everyone can just go out and investigate. Lastly all the ghost hunters shows and the market involved is booming right now. Also some great evidence is coming out from this pop culture. With growth comes pain and no no one will ever agree one hundred percent on everything. I am simply sharing some thoughts.

I think that part of the problem is that there hasn't been too many newsworthy flaps as of late.

Further compounding the problem is the fact that nearly every new video is suspect of being a fraud in this modern era. Look at how convincing the supposed Jerusalem UFO was - it looked pretty real and was seen from two different viewpoints, yet it still turns out to be a hoax. How can you trust anything that isn't caught on film by a large number of people?

The status quo on disclosure hasn't ever changed either, so it's not like there's anything worth watching on that topic other than sheer conjecture.

There's a figurative wall that you hit when looking into the topic for sure.

I think there are a few very good UFO docos. I Know What I Saw from James Fox, UFOs in South America, UFO (1956) which is more of a docudrama but still very good. Those are three that really stand out.
