I have always between interested in "Ancient gods". Most countries around the world have such mythology or folklore. Plus i would be quiet interested to hear other tales of such things from other people on the forums.

I wont ramble on forever so please dont tune out.The most Famous god in Ireland was called Dagda,He was also called sucellus which means the hammer god.Historians believe there was some connection between Dagda and Thor, who in mythology is siad to be a god of a people called the Asgard, (that is for all ye Stargate fans )Dagda lived six thousand years ago in a place called "Newgrange" which is situated in "Ireland".A little insight here for ye, Alot of ufos and triangle ships have been appearing over this site for years. Some historians have even siad the "stone hedge stones in England originated from this area, there is alot of evidence out there to back up that claim.

Some of the other mythology suggests that "Newgrange" was not his real home, but he was a God from a dimension called "Avalon"They had there enemies. They came from the regions of the middle east such as Egypt. One such god From Eygpt was called Seth. Seth was called the Black Sphinx. Those Gods fought each other, however little is known to what happened, time distorts alot of information, plus it is Mythology.:)

Hi Irishseekers,

Interesting, the stuff you mention about Newgrange.

I was unaware of any ufo connection there but I do know a bit about the site.
Somewhere in the forums I mentioned something about "Infrasound" effects on the human psyche and tests carried out there. I will try to look that up and let you know.

Also I too am interested in the Norse gods, and have often wondered about the god "Loki" and his trickster type antics, and see a correlation with other belief systems.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi DUSTY.... Since Ireland is a small country stuff rarely gets reported from this country. It is usally reported amongest local reporters of the area, but in time it is forgotten.I have never been to Newgrange to see the monuments or the tomb myself, but i have learned about Newgrange through school. The infrasound effects that are reported to be happening there sound amazeing, yes i would like to no more.:)

Thought you might find this interesting :)

THANKS FOR THAT DUSTY

Mythology maybe explains who we truly are and or origins, i no that is a big step to take but i truly believe there is grain of truth to that. There is alot of rubbish out there on this topic so you have to be careful, however through study i believe you can disseminate fact from fiction.Dagda was considered to be a God, but what constitutes a God,Power through technology is my guess. In ufology we have these beings or entitys called the "Blondes".I cant confess to no a whole lot about this phenomen, however to me this beings or entity are quiet similar to the Gods I forementioned.

Dagda was considered to be the High king or Father of the Asgard."Stargate fans will now what i am referring to. I guess there is a grain of truth even in tv series.Thor was considered to be his best general and is very popular in mythology. To me the "blondes" seem very similar to the old Gods in mythology. i think it would be very hard to get away from the similitaries.

I do believe there was Ancient civilisations here thousands of years ago,Perhaps mythology gave us a little peak at it, but it is so long ago, little attention is payed to it. Today we study the "Romans" And the Greeks as best as we can. However maybe the Romans and Greeks were doing the exact same thing during there time. But the history of those civilisations was so far back that the only thing they could produce to give knowledge of that civilisation was through tales and myths. Two of the tales or myths to come out of Greece, as we no it today, are Zeus and the story of Atlantis.

Coupla things I recall about Dagda. He was not very hygienic, and often had shit smeared around his ass and stuff. Also, he had a "magical cauldron", from which no-one ever left unsatisfied.

An Irishman that has never been to Newgrange??? What a disgrace! :D

Seriously though, I was on a week-long trip to Dublin this past spring and one of the highlights was the Mary Gibbons Tour that took us to Newgrange and The Hill of Tara. I highly recommend this tour. The Irish government has placed a limit on the amount of people allowed to access the tomb each year, and this is one of the only tours that guarantees entrance to the tomb at all times. It was an utterly fascinating experience.

I would recommend Ireland to anyone! :D

My grandmother was born in Co. Antrim, so it was always a dream of mine to visit there. This time I only saw Dublin, but I will be back some time to see the north country where she was born.

I was reading one of the posts on the forums about the Hudson valley case. it is highly intrigueing. There seems to be old Celtic druid caverns or caves within that region. Of course the thread i started on this post was about such things. Celtics are one of the oldest Tribes in Ireland. Irish people are Celts the language we speak is a old form of the celtic language called Gaelige there is many forms this language takes and i will not bore anyone on the forums. The Druids and the Celts give us myths and legends about the gods from different dimensions and space who came here to live and in the process do battle.? Not all vistors who arrived here, had good intentions toward our planet as the legend says.

I Looked at the Hudson valley case and Newgrange there about a half a hour ago by googleing it.The monuments side by side have amazeing similitaries.! The Hudson valley case monuments must be a least three to four thousand years old if they are Celt?.Celts where the biggest tribe in the world thousands of years ago they were made up of Germanic,Illyrians, sarmatians, gauls who where french born, and tribes from the areas of Italy, Israel,Greece, and finally slavs. However most Celt culture is gone now all that is left are the Irish and certain tribes from France, what a pity.

The sightings over the Hudson valley seem similar to certain sightings here in Ireland at Newgrange. Strange ships, balls of lighting, weird phenomen,. But the Hudson valley is thousands of miles away from Ireland and any other similar structures that might be situated around the World. What is it mean?.I guess we will never known for sure. But i will give u a legend by the Celts and Druids for thought!.Newgrange was siad to be a portal to the other side. Something like a open window you might say.Which according to the celts and druids the Asgard came with there ships through from the dimensions where they lived. This is all could be fantasy.however it seems a little bit of a consequence that this phenomen is very similar, and the monuments where it is happening are similar, but the distance from each other is thousands of miles away. it is stunning to me.

Christopher Columbus it seems he wasnt the first person to discover America. The monuments are prove of that. Some celt tribe was there first.however i have to hold back a little. Have they been proven or dated to be celt monuments.:)

I was just thinking when i was writeing my post.Do any body on the forums no of sightings that happen around the world where there is monuments bulid by ancient cultures it can be any culture. just curious ,i wonder if monuments are situated in a certain place's because they are places where this phenomen can come through. It is just a theory, it might have no logic.
