Just read a certain part of the following transcript from an AllThingsD event this week (which also featured Apple CEO Tim Cook saying, as usual, not much):

The real question is why they ended up making crapy cell phones for a failing handset company.

My wife still has a pink RAZR, but we have a leftover review smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy S3, which I'll put into her little hands soon as I have a white case for it. She'd prefer an iPhone, but we don't pay for review samples, and eventually they'll want them back, but for now . . .
