When I heard that Bush's approval ratings had slipped to 20%, I had to ask myself "What type of people make up this 20%?"
Now I know.

I deal with the Brain-Dead Nazi's fer Jezus on a reagular basis in western North Carolina. And there are quite a few things I've discovered about them:
1.Almost all of them have no idea what the Bible says, and can't even name some of the books in it, much less what it actually says.
2.They are IMPOSSIBLE to talk with, because they talk AT you. They aren't interested in the slightest what you might have to say.
3.They are impossible to reason with,...I mean let's face it, if they had ANY mental faculties for reasoning, they probably wouldn't be Fundamentalists.
4.They , as a rule, hate anything to do with science since so much of it contradicts their cherished beleifs!
5. They unanimously agree that Constitutionaly guarenteed rights such as Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, and Freedom of the Press are only for them and not for anyone who disagrees with them.

If mankind does destroy itself, ...it will be because of people like these.
 
It's ironic folks like these don't believe in evolution, since they themselves represent the vestigial tail of human social development...
 
Now that is some parenting isnt it? That shit makes me sick. What kind of sick bastard teaches hate to a child? That is nothing short of abuse!

There's a distinct difference between a transmission of prejudice from parent to child and an indoctrinated belief system tied to an entire community of like-minded individuals. One is a family, the other's a cult.

That's why I said in some form. Not that all or even most parents are as bad as what the vid depicts I imagine.
 
Maybe those ex-masturbators had a problem because they grew up on shows like this.

Yeah that vid is great. According to Scopes.com IIRC, it was a joke for the people who worked on the show, for a Christmas party, or something like that. Never aired for the kiddies.
