Unraveling the Secrets: 2 hrs
We cover a wide-range of SW USA subjects including our trip to the confluence of the CO and Little CO Rivers @ Grand Canyon last May. JC and a team to specialists mounted an expedition to investigate the alleged "underground Egyptian city," near the confluence--right around the corner from the mythical sipapu, the entrance to the underground sanctuary. We uncovered covert chopper flights carrying loads down Salt Trail Canyon toward the sipapu -- one of North America's most sacred sites, later to find that a $250 million casino/resort had just been proposed for construction on the rim above the confluence. With a 1 1/2 mile tramway to w/in a couple of miles of the sipapu!... Interview covers a lot of ground....

Here is the (compressed) 27 min video journal of our expedition:

I am new to the forum and this very show made me want to sign up a while ago but I never did. I wish I had because I have a lot of insight on the subject. I am a Geographer most recently working on projects for land-use change and wetlands-loss here in Louisiana. However my career began in the field of Archeaology in the southwest (working experience in Colorado Four Corners region, southern New Mexico and west Texas). I have worked extensively in Mogollon and Anasazi culture areas. The part of the interview about the casino was very interesting and probably should have been the focus of topic. The underground Egyptian city BS is laughable. Sorry....but it was very typical that at the turn of the century so called (untrained Archaeologists) used Egyptian theories to explain away a lot of Anasazi sites and artifacts. This was due to lack of knowledge at the turn of the century and up to about the 1920's and more importantly due to the fact they could get MORE MONEY out of the artifacts proclaiming them "old world relics". This was common at Mesa Verde in the late 1800's when the Weatheralls (the first looters) were exploring the sites. It wasn't until Archaeology began to be a real topic of study in universities in the US that these crack-pot theories were finally put to rest. Now I see the paranormal crowd is trying to bring it back. Too funny.
