Moonstruck written by John Patrick Shanley

Ronny: Everything seems like nothing to me now, I guess I don't want you in my bed. I don't care if I burn in hell; I don't care if you burn in hell. The past and the future is a joke to me now. I see that they are nothin, I see they ain't here. The only thing that's here is you and me.
Loretta: I'm so cold. I wanna go home, I'm freezing to death!
Ronny: No! Come upstairs...I don't care why you come. No, that's not what I mean. Loretta, I love you. Not like they told you love is, and I didn't know this either, but love don't make things nice, it ruins everything! It breaks your heart, it makes things a mess. We aren't here to make things perfect. Snowflakes are perfect, stars are perfect. Not us, not us. We are here to ruin ourselves and...and to break our hearts and love the wrong people and...and die! I mean the storybooks are bullshit! Now I want you to come upstairs and...and GET in my bed. Come on, come on, come on.

I have two:

'I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.Time to die.' -- Bladerunner

And practically the whole of 'The big Lebowski'.

'Well, sir, it's this rug I have. It really tied the room together.' Too many to quote from that movie, I just love the flick.

Guys: My signature on the gun forums is my favorite....George Macready as Paul Mireau in "Paths of Glory"....(Stanley Kubrick; circa 1956..)

"If those sweethearts won't face german bullets--They'll face French ones!!"

My avatar is like a clue, duh!!

"The popcorn you've been eating has been pissed in.....film at eleven!"

"Look at the size of that boy's head. I'm not kidding, it's like an orange on a toothpick! Oh that's a huge noggin. It's a virtual planetoid, has it's own weather system!"-Mike Myers (So I Married an Axe Murderer)

Fellows: Wasn't there a movie before Wayne's World, and Bill and Ted, called "O C and Stiggs"? It had an ancient Studebaker, jacked up, called the Gila Monster, and an Insurance Thief named "Schwab".....Nicht Wahr?? IIRC: this was based on a story in National Lampoon from the 70's, and it started a whole genre of movies, as noted above....

Have you noticed the tendency for Hollywood to have several productions of the same or similar type to be going at similar times?

Is there no originality left?? (Even UFO abductees steal from each other.....) What the Farouk is up with that??

I guess some stories strike cords relevant to their intended audiences, I don't mind being 'robbed' (almost wrote milked) out of my money if it is a good movie. Recent news of a possible 'Bill & Ted' and 'Back to the future' revival have me worried though.

I have 3 all time favorites.

Pulp Fiction (Character - Jules played by Samuel L. Jackson):"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

The Rock (Character - John Mason played by Sean Connery) Your "best"! Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.

The Princess Bride (Character - Inigo Montoya played by Mandy Patinkin) "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. "

Pulp Fiction has quotes every 5 minutes.

"Feel that sting? Don't let pride f*** with you."

"Let's get into character."

" Personality goes a long way."

"That's 30 minutes away. I'll be there in 10."

An all time favourite from Die Hard, "The sun even shines on a dog's ass some days."

I just googled this one for accuracy...

The way your dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slopes gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright, so he hid it, in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he wore this watch up his ass. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the watch to you.

Still trying to outsmart me aren't you muleskinner,? You want me to think that you don't want me to go down there when the subtle truth is you really DON'T want me to go down there".

Little Big Man. The climactic seen where Gen. Custer goes into the coolee basically on a dare from jack.

I can recite that whole scene word for word, and used this bit of dialog for my signature for awhile.
