Since the beginning of my use of the internet I have run into, been stuck in, and actually started 1 or 2 flame wars in forums, messageboards and elsewhere.

I remember one forum I used to visit not involved with the paranormal that was a forum about music that erupted into several multi page muli year long FLAME WARS .

If the internet is boring sometimes these can be kind of entertaining. The diatribe that appears in them can be something between the mix of James Carlson and Hulk Hogan. It gets nasty.

What are some classic flame wars that you have seen online?

How many pages deep 5, 10, 100, or 1,000 pages deep of internet bickering, sling throwing, cockfight all out war that continue on and on

This is one of the dumbest posts I've ever read on the internet.
 
I was just wondering if anyone has ever been in an email chain that was so long that the email service stopped accepting another "reply with quote" after 1,000 or 1 million QUOTES
 
There is an Amazon thread on a book review of Judy Woods book were just the comments on the book review reached over 2,000 comments because the entire comment section became on e big argument. LOL

Bring back Kim123, the friendliest Christian troll ever, you know the one who you just knew had a smug smile on his face as he 'schooled' us in all our mistakes. I miss forcing Kim into theological corners.
 
I made a topic about religion not thinking..these days theonly one I really get into it with is pixel..but I try to remain civil..I miss kim123 he was fun..you guys should see what I and my wife call9/11 happy fun times..lol
