Well... witnesses identified them as looking like flying saucers. But their real shape might be something totally different if the space around them is manipulated.
I met an Air Canada pilot that actually observed a black rectangular object about a mile wide at 35,000 feet (mother ship ?). He contacted another plane flying in the opposite direction to confirm his sighting and they both observed the 'thing' for about half an hour before it vanished. Of course, they never reported it. 'Who wants the publicity, get laughed at and lose his job at the same time' ? he said.
