Alex Jones is one the same network (GCN) as The Paracast and I hear him on some of the ads during the show. We must all be in the land of the brain dead, including you ArchieBedford. ;p

We don't control any of the ads, other than our own. It's normal for a network to push their various shows in this fashion.

I understand that Gene. I may not agree with everything Alex Jones talks about but he does have balls. He is pretty much spot on with most of what he talks about. Look at the current economic situation that much of the world is in right now. He has predicted this scenario for 15 years or better. I think his most important contribution is exposing the left/right paradigm for what it is designed to do. It keeps us all fighting and pointing fingers at each others party of choice while the ones that are REALLY in power take trillions of dollars from us. AND they are coming back for more...

Pixel, we all know you're a conspiracy theorist of the old fashioned, unreconstituted kind. The truth about Alex Jones is he never "predicts" anything. Anyone and everyone connected to the financial industry who understands leverage and excessive debt risk has been predicting financial meltdown for years. All AJ does is parrot what other people were saying: he is as completely financially illiterate as he is ignorant of history and real geopolitics. He feeds his army of drones a diet of dumbed down, oversimplified mush. A cynic would say he's obviously some kind of sheepdog, to keep the brainless wankers under control and distract them with harmless delusions so they never get near anything important. If he wasn't used for this purpose, someone else would be appointed to do it.
 
I'm no fan of AJ, howerver, considering that our current Media is not willing to do any type of investigative reporting one sometimes has to turn to someone like AJ or others to dig for the truth and connect the dots.

A very valid point, truthseeker. The tabloid entertainment that passes for journalism these days leaves a vacuum for all kinds of things.

Jones is sharp individual with some valid points. But I take everything he says with a huge grain of salt. I recall his FM radio talk show during his heyday in Austin back in the 80's, and he would sometimes become downright manic. When he started talking about black helicopters personally following him around Austin-- noope.....

Funny thing about connecting the dots... if you take away the numbers, the picture you get looks like whatever you want it to.
