FOX news ridicules UFO witness

I was watching FOX news last night and they had a list of the top ten losers of the year; and on top of that list was presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich. The reason for this is because he claimed to have seen a triangle UFO. They didn't say if he did anthing else that was horrible, they only talked about him mentioning seeing a UFO, which in their eyes made him the biggest loser. Now I don't know too much about Dennis Kucinich, but just because he says he seen a UFO doesn't make him the biggest loser in my book. Maybe he did see a UFO and maybe he didn't. This is the sort of ridicule and disrespect the media likes to dish out which pisses me off. Just click on this link and you'll see what happens if you even mention seeing a UFO: http://www.michaeltotten.com/archives/images/Dennis%20Kucinich.jpg

Well, it's an easy dig for FOX but it doesn't really matter who says they saw what, if it's reported, you can guarantee the person will be ridiculed. It's par for the course.

Well it's easy to point out the media's vain and narrow-minded approach towards the paranormal and any of its witnesses and that goes double for Fox News.

Apparently their "Fair and Balanced" brand of journalism overlooked the UFO sightings of Presidents Carter and Reagan.

Hmm, didn't hear about that.

Thanks FoxNews! I know who I'm voting for now.

The media always reminds me of Beavis and Butthead in sex ed. when dealing with things considered paranormal. But less entertaining. They should snicker at the fact they air Britney Spears shaving her head instead of laughing at the profound.

Folks, treating Foxey Olds as if it were a legitimate news source, is akin to believing that the gubmint is out to do the right thing for you. Whatever Fox puts forward as truth, well, that's how you know it's a lie. They're nothing more than a propaganda agency for the right - "Fair and Balanced", yeah, just like the Nazis were "good and good for you". The attack Kucinich because he saw a UFO? Do they attack the Republicon "Dirt of the Earth™" because they believe a Radical Jewish Rabbi Carpenter Luthier Vegan Baker is the SON of DOG™? I didn't think so.

It's so hard to listen to anything on the news these days whether it's FOX or any other channel without their volumes turned to 11. It seems like the prevailing philosophy these days is that He Who Screams Loudest is the Most Right. All the channels now have screaming bobble heads.

I can't even read news on the Internet without every website referring to just one or two sources of information such as AP or Reuters. Do we really want most of the information in the world about relevant events filtered through two organizations? Traditional newspapers are all cutting back on staffs of field reporters and relying on paid aggregated news sources. Are we getting more news? Yes. Better? Doubtful.

Fox is just the most obvious network that plays to the ratings or polls. Politicians are way worst, especially when it comes to issues of faith. Last time I saw a political debate involving a question of religion the entire event turned into a giant circle jerk. All the candidates were falling over themselves to tell everyone how devout they were and how meaningful Jesus was to their lives. Truly sickening because these are hardly the issues most Americans care about. But it sure is safe.

I'm glad to see David started trademarking his terms:) It's not just Fox News, CNN did a somewhat less mocking piece today as well. They interviewed some guy dressed as Shrek and a deranged looking guy, who said they would vote for Dennis Kucinich because of the ufo sighting, in all fairness they found quite a few normal people who didn't have a problem with it, but still the same finger pointing silliness. They also pointed out the Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan ufo sightings.

Here is an article about the UFO issue in the presidential debate:

Not a bad article. Not condescending. Actually bothered to interviewed someone from MUFON.

The first mocking piece on Kucinich was by Chris Matthews from the left of center news agency, MSNBC. O'Reilly had him on a couple days later. He said that he respected him for having the courage to stand by his convictions rather than pander as is the case with most politicians.
