Joe Dvorak's lecture at Muskegon Community College in 2010 focused on the future of "replacement" parts for the human body and how it could affect human development and potential. According to Dvorak, we could see the appearance of "an entirely new form of human being: 'homo superiorus.'"
"In the past, you used to have to live with the body you were born with," said Dvorak. "Now, however, there are a growing list of options for the replacement and/or augmentation of parts of our body. And the list is growing. But the future holds opportunities for enhancement not only of the physical parts of our bodies, but also our mental, psychological, and genetic capabilities."
