Paranormal Adept
Nobody has posted anything yet about this weeks show, but just a little snippet of information, that might interest people like Chris and other people here maybe?. It would never have dawned on me without having listened to this weekends show. Near the front entrance of the mound at 'Newgrange', there is a decorated stone a kerbstone, it has been claimed by lot people, even folks from universities lecturers and researchers and believe there was some study on it in the past or something, i will look for it later and post it tomo or today if I find it. The patterns etched into the stone called a kerbstone, there well over 60 or more Kerbstones with designs, but the one I am talking about is said to be a representation of the Orion belt and Sirius the stone is called k52 the stones faces in the direction of the Summer Solstice sunset. So in Ireland too that part of the sky seems to have had some interest for the peoples that build Newgrange 5,000 years ago one of the oldest buildings ever build that we know of.

Here is an article from the BBC. The oldest known map of the moon ever found it claimed was at a site close to Newgrange called Knowth, that site is probably even more stranger than Newgrange site. Here is the article

Since there seems to be no official thread-of-the-show for this week I figure I might as well jump in here and say I found it an interesting show. I'm always intrigued by the weird similarities between ancient cultures, makes you wonder about precursor civilizations, Atlantis, etc. Fun stuff.

On the subject of the one elder's prophecy about "talking wheels" I think you guys missed some obvious options. Wagons and carriages wheels don't "talk" but locomotive wheels do. However, why be so literal? Looking more broadly at it, a wheel is just a disc and when I say "a disc that talks" (ie makes noise) suddenly we have a host of options: old reel-to-reel tape decks, records, CDs, DVDs, harddirves, hell even the selector wheel on an iPod would all qualitfy.

But if we go down that road, then aren't we falling into the Nostradamus trap- ie if you wait long enough, eventually something happens that looks close enough to what was prophesized to make it seem legit?

Now admittedly, I'm just picking out one of the group and the "black ribbons" and "web in the sky" predictions seem alot more on-the-nose but still, I felt it worth pointing out. Part of the mystique of prophecy is inherent in it's vagueness after all.

Liked this episode as well,....but..there are older Petroglyphics, after scientific testing, in western europe. Still intrigued.

Its actually to do with the winter solstice =P , the rising sun shines a beam into the inner chamber and puts on quite a light show . it happens on the 18 to 23 december each year.
