Gene Steinberg...Next on Biography?

OK Gene, we've heard a few of Mr. Biedny's Experiences, and although you've claimed to have no paranormal experiences of your own, you've sacrificed enormous amounts of personal time and space devoted to the phemomenon....I am curious to know what is the motivation and the beginnings, and attractions to the unknown, through the eyes of someone who is not a personal experiencer, but a devotee to the furthering of discussion and re-calculation of the ufo paradigm. I myself saw a mutilated cow when I was five years old, and MY life was never the same, I persist in seeking thought and discourse about the subject to try and ratify my own questions, to try to adopt a collage of beliefs that I can categorize my experiences into so that they are livable on a daily basis. I guess what I'm really after is, man you must have talked to a lot of nutcases because your graceful podcasting/referee
tone belies the fact. What has kept you in this for so long and why have you not had an experience?

Listening to all the episodes you begin to get a sense of Genes personal narrative. This is what I have gathered:

Gene read his first UFO book at age 11 and was hooked. In addition to his UFO interest, he maintained a keen interest in SciFi as a kid too. As he grew older he developed an interest in broadcast and radio and while still interested in UFOs either formed or was part of teenage UFO groups.

Later on he had associations with certain paranormal authors and even organised a UFO convention here and there.
