Paranormal Novice
Has anyone seen, or heard of anyone seeing, a geometric, rectangular, somewhat trapezoidal shaped object, lit from within in their house at night?
I went to bed, turned out the light and was listening to my ipod, and while situating my pillow getting ready for sleep, something light caught my eye. I was wide awake, mind you. In the corner of the room was this rectangular shaped, vertical white object. It had distinct horizontal vent-like features in the upper left part of it. It was about 4 feet off the ground, approximately 1.5 feet wide by 2-3 feet high. At first I thought it was moonlight, then realized there was no moonlight outside or inside my bedroom and there was no way moonlight could hit that area. It would have had to beam through thick woods and across the window sill. Once I realized that it couldn't be moonlight, I stared intensley at it trying to figure out what it was. I yelled to myself "what the F___ is that!" It was something and it was there. I panicked, froze and buried my head under the blanket! After a few minutes I looked and it was still there but it had faded significantly and within 4-5 seconds it faded before my eyes. My heart was pounding and I laid there trying to figure out what it was. My bedroom faces 80 acres of dark woods. Needless to say, I got very little sleep last night.
I'm perplexed, and bit freaked. Prior to turning out the light I was thinking of a friend who died around a year ago. She gave me an old dresser years ago that is in my bedroom. Recently I've found all the drawers open on two occasions when I know I hadn't opened them. I had no reason to.
I got the impression it was Mechanical. If I felt anything from it, it was a feeling of being watched. It was cold.
I had a similar experience with a dome shaped light in my yard about 5 years ago. No idea what that was either. But that wasn't in my bedroom. This feels more like a violation.
Has anyone else had any such experiences?
