Holy crap man!!

I think the best episode of MonsterQuest was involving the giant squid species and was filmed for a brief moment for the first time ever to my knowledge. It was perhaps a momentous expedition that began to reveal the monsters in the depths of our oceans. Truly a great spectacle.

Now of course we have another species altogether, the Colossal. This one lives in the deep cold waters of the far reaching Northern lattitudes. and apparently it's morphology includes giant piercing swiveling hooks on it's tentacles. Fierce to say the least. This is in contrast to the giant squid that seems to have teeth-like protrusions on it's suckers.

This is one of the reasons that I don't like to go into the water. And I'll probably have some dark watery dream because of it. Thanks Aaron.
 
I'm just glad I wasn't the only one. Could you imagine taking that to the fry cook who's going to make your deep fried Calamari???

I bet it would taste terrible. Giant Squid Calamari... I got a feeling it would be just too much to really deep fry.
