Past JSE Research Articles from SSE

Good call T! People don't like reading this type of UFO literature and maybe it's because they are colourless and lacking gifs flashing away as they read them? The tone is dry and there are very few bold claims in there and tables that could remind them of being back in school?

The guys who believe UFOs are all misidentified landing lights, lies and hallucinations hate to see a PhD NASA scientist seriously considering the phenomena. Genuine scientists with more experience and qualifications than their critics is too tough a fight.

JSE have some excellent papers that provide a better argument or discussion for the UFO Phenomena than many websites and popular figures. At least, that's why I like it and have saved a ream of documents.

It's quite a trawl through the archives to find papers and not everyone is keen on the set-up. To save hassle, I'll link some of the most interesting ones below....

Sturrock: Survey of astronomers' UFO sightings part 1 (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_08_1_sturrock.pdf)

Vallee: Analyses of ten trace evidence cases (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_12_3_vallee_2.pdf)

Swords: Tombaugh, Mars and UFOs (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_13_4_swords.pdf)

Haines: Analysis of a UFO photo (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_01_2_haines.pdf)

Teodarani: Long term study of Hessdalen Lights (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_18_2_teodorani.pdf)

Swords: UFology; What have we learned? (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_20_4_swords.pdf)

Sturrock: Ananlysis of the Condon Report (http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_01_1_sturrock_2.pdf)

Thanks for highlighting those. You are right the papers can be dry and technical. On the other hand the amount of real scientific study into the subject is impressive. I honestly didn't know there was so much serious study out there. Still, most of the articles are older but I'm glad such a publication is there. I think you have to subscribe to get the current articles. But, they also have video links and other resources linked from the site. :-)
