Also try www.wordpress.org. WordPress is probably the most popular blogging tool in the world, and if you decide to migrate to your own personal site elsewhere, it's easy to bring over your stuff. :)

We use WordPress at www.macnightowl.com, my tech blog, and it's also in use at The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNET and millions of other places. There has to be a reason. :D
 
I like Blogger. I use it, but with my own custom domains. It's a nice alternative to paying for hosting. Wordpress also offers free blogs, but if you're using the freebie version, you get very little space for images. Blogger allows you 1 GB of image hosting. It also has a lot of pretty neat features and gadgets to customize your blog. There are other free blog hosts, such as LiveJournal, but I can't vouch for them.
 
thanks Guys! I will check out both sites, but for my purposes I think Wordpress would work since I don't do much with pics.

I've been putting together a weekly paranormal email that I send to friends who are interested on the topic about my latest discoveries/news, but I think I'm better off doing a blog. Once (or if!) I get it up I'll post a link on the forum here.
