Did anyone hear the rather strange Untamed Dimensions program where Robert Sterling of The Konformist apparently seem to out Greg Bishop as a CIA disinfo agent??

I thought the whole thing was a bit odd really ... might have to listen to it again when I have time but Adam Gorightly seemed to go right along with what Sterling says (who I thought sounded a bit drunk??? or was that just me :D) ... anyway see what you think???

I think they mention Walter Bosley ... who seems a bit dodgy when you hear him on Greg Bishops show (Radio Misterioso) ... but who really knows who's telling the truth and who isn't anymore???

p.s. does anyone know of a way of actually hearing an episode of Radio Misterioso without tuning in at exactly the right time ... a download of the latest broadcast in podcast form is what I'm after really (living on the underside of the planet (NZ) has its problems dontchya know )

I said this somewhere before, don't remember where...If Greg Bishop is a CIA dupe sent to control the dialog in ufology, the CIA sucks at their job.

Well this thread went down like a lead balloon :D... thought there would be a few more thoughts about Greg Bishop, really. Or am I the only one who's ever listened to Radio Misterioso ??? :D

bwahahahah!! you gotta be joking, right?!?
this is so obviously a put-on, I mean, c'mon, code name agent H44B-Day?!?! Happy 44th Birthday to Greg, Sterling even keeps hammering it home by repeating the Oct 26 date throughout...that interview is so over the top ("I learned all my karate moves from Walker, Texas Ranger"), and yes, OP is correct, Sterling is clearly three sheets to the wind..it is all somewhat, but not really very cleverly-designed to see how far some paranoids will run with it...how anyone could mistake this whole thing as a genuine and serious accusation is stunning, I am actually somewhat embarrassed for the OP....sheesh, conspiracy folks are so gullible.... ;)

He he ... my thoughts exactly. I just couldn't believe how Adam Gorightly was so ready to believe this guy when he interviewed him on Untamed Dimensions. But then again I only listened to it once ... so ... and this is stretching it a bit ... maybe I missed something ... but somehow I don't think I did :D. Its certainly a strange world out there in esoteric podcast land :D.

Anybody else heard the Tuesday Weld conspiracy stuff yet??? :D

I have no reason to believe that Greg Bishop is affiliated or co-opted by the CIA in any way. I've worked with CIA people. Yes, many of them are idiots, many are fine professionals. The idea that Greg is some sort of stooge for anyone is laughable, and a sure sign that somebody is a bit paranoid.

If I can clarify anything regarding what I've allegedly been 'dodgy' about, by all means ask me to. I love discussing these things. Are there things I cannot discuss in certain detail? You bet! That's due to a legal agreement between myself and the United States government. I can say that some folks are putting waaaaay too much stock in what Uncle Sam might care or think about many of the topics here.

I don't get into debates, by the way. It's a waste of time and energy and everyone ends up pissed or some idiot goes away smug without having proven a thing. I'll discuss, though.

I do not have your answers, I only have some of my own. I cannot convince you of anything I have experienced, I can only present for your consideration.

But whether Greg Bishop is a CIA stooge or not, in my experienced opinion, absolutely not. And neither am I.

Truer words were never spoken.

No... you're an FBI / AFOSI stooge! ;)

For my part, I'm happily employed by CSIS.

ONI here. Me and two other guys who got grandfathered in. I think they forgot about us, but as long as those bags of cash keep turning up in my freezer, I'm happy to do my part.

Enquires into UFO sightings have been made by Uncle SAM over the years, especially, when an usual large scale UFO event happened outside of the United states. They cared enough to investigate the ( Belgium Triangle and Cosford incident) though officially they don't investigate UFO sightings. I can't see how the United states would know more about the subject then the average Joe if Roswell never happened. Tracking objects on Radar and getting reports from Eyewitness's informs the United States Government there is usual events effecting their Citizens, but it doesn't tell you what it is, and who own's these object's and we're there coming from.

Greg is no CIA agent, i eat my shirt if he is.

Thanks to threads like this, especially if they are repeated and expounded upon and more ridiculous, if someone in the field really is covert, it will never be believed.

That's exactly what they teach us to do in spy school. ;)

Seriously, the so-called paranormal and conspiracy "fields" are so full of lunatics, con-men, and absolute nutters, the government, even if they were inclined to discredit it (which I doubt), simply has to sit back and let it happen.

Kind of like waiting for the Maple Leafs to implode every year...

Blimey I didn't know this thread was still around :D. I be the one who started it, folks. I lost my account for some strange reason and so regenerated as paraschtick.

Annyway ... it turned out that it was all a ... 'joke'. Yeah when I listened to the 'expose' it totally went over my head. It seems to be a running joke or something between Mr Bishop and Mr Gorightly.

Thing is listening to the programme you would never have known. It just sounded to me like Adam was outing Greg as a CIA spook. So ... I guess you shouldn't trust anything coming out of Gorightly or Bishop's mouths (for they have more than one :D). They're both spooks ... and whatever the say shouldn't be trusted (uh-oh ... repetition) ... or am I kidding???:D

Walter rest assured no one with a brain here thinks Greg has anything to do with the CIA.

Ahh but which CIA?? is what we should be asking. He might be a member of any number of CIAs.

There's the Culinary Institute of America (sorry ... stole that from the Gilmore Girls :D) ...

The Crazy Invertebrate Aardvarks ... of Doom ... of course ...

The Colloquial Intelligence Anklesocks ... are there any other???

The Champion Infestational Anchovy ... Society of Idaho (to give it its well known full name)

Or the ultra-famous ...

Custard In Arse

... whatever the heck that means :D.

There are sooo many CIAs to choose from ... he could be a member of many ... or indeed all.

Only Mr Greg Bishop knows ... or does he??

(Its the Custard in Arse one isn't it??? :D)
