Who watches Grimm? Its a really great show, based on the Grimm fairytales, a cop investigates crimes that are done by other "creatures" posing as humans, similar to MIB with the aliens. One of my biggest questions and mysteries is "fairy tales" - They all had to come from somewhere. Many put the word "myth" as false made up stories they are stories but no where in definition is false or made up. They could be exaggerated observations and or someone really seen a many headed hydra or a something else that describe some epic tales of past heroes and people. Fairy tales are more folkish from lore and history of everyday people that experience the weird and unexplainable back then ( we still use folklorish alternative medicine and remedies and they do work). What if the brothers Grimm really did experience the BauerShwine (never mind my spelling) who built three different houses that the big bad wolf blew down or Hansel and Gretel and snow white meeting with some nasty hags, hexenbeasts, or what not. it all had to come from somewhere. I don't know if my points being put across but this fairy tales aren't so fairy tales after all. interesting thought.....

superstition? imagination? Before radio, motion pictures, television or printing presses, we had to entertain ourselves. A good Story Teller.

but how would stories be made without the big bad wolf?, how does one just invent it out of thin air, call me crazy but without spotting a 10ft long or so winged reptile, or actually seeing a brief glimpse of even a one horned (even prehistoric) horse .. I don't see these stories happening or being "passed down", would you of thought up a "fantasy setting" even without experiencing something that boggled your mind, Its a mystery behind stories and folk tales in those days, and yes I know, being passed down from originality (exaggeration) and attempting to 'scare" children factors do play some parts but my idea is two fold here....

1) Are we living really among all humans? any one of us could be something else in sheep's clothing just wanting to fit in, 2) where did these stories come from and how were they wrote in such a way? they weren't all exaggeration and or a scare tactic, some were witness to brave and heroic deeds done by people.

Unearthing a complete skeleton of a dinosaur alone, could produce tales of "winged reptiles" I think our planet was/is host to strange encounters, or rather, strange events we still do not fully understand, but we shouldn't underestimate the imagination of ancient men.
