"Guidelines for a Space Propulsion Device Based on Heim's Quantum Theory."

This paper, linked above, won an award at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. These German physicists think a device built using Heim's work could travel 40 light years in 10 days.

I haven't got the math skills to understand this paper, but it's fun to think about.
 
Thanks for this, I think I can remember this being in New Scientist a few years ago. If this is true perhaps we will be ready to send humans to other stars by the end of the century, but its a big if.
