I have also had issues viewing the forums since yesterday. but it seems to be working fine again now. (it said something along the lines of "we are updating our servers and will be back soon")
 
It was a real server migration, where we moved from a datacenter in Montreal to one in Phoenix. So the IP numbers and DNS are all changed. It takes a day or two for the system to stabilize. If you get the old server, it's under maintenance. If you reach the new one, it works fine.
 
I still can't get on without using Tor. I get a "your IP has been banned" flag even when using that after a short while. I am pretty certain I am being messed with.

Actually, you can ban someone's IP instead of the their identity on many forums. Two different things. The odd thing is the message Han is referring to. I got that yesterday as well until I got home to a different IP address.
 
Well, we are starting with a clean slate here on the new server. We will, however, restrict access for regular users if their emails bounce. So keep your email up to date.
 
Thanks to everyone for their kind words. They do mean a great deal to me. Honestly, more than I can make up for in words here.

I can get on the forum with Tor masking my IP address, but after about 5 minutes I get a flag that states my IP has been banned. Gene has assured me this is not the case. I look forward to being back at it here just as soon as the issue is cleared up.
