I have noticed a major decrease in traffic to regular websites that we used to enjoy everyday.

Personally I enjoy message boards much more, because 90% of the stuff on FB and Twitter is total bollocks. And there are millions and millions of people who spend all their internet time sitting on FB like a zombie, but there is no real conversation there at all.

comment??

Not on facebook, never will be.I think facebook in particular is helping to make the younger generations more self obsessed believing the world revolves around them.

If i recall the original intent of twitter was to "broadcast" to multiple parties any significant events in a format...

...in as concise as possible given that any network carrying these messages would be under strain thus helping ensure that someone...

...would get the message. Obviously the income and growth for such a idea would be very limited. So it evolved with some concessions made...

...to cater to those groups of people out there that need to have their voices heard, even if they don't really need to be heard.

I seem to remember hearing a quote once about the anguish of not having your voice heard in a world of saturated media, and if it doesn't exist then someone should come up with one.

i suppose in a way i'm as guilty of this as anyone, even though i don't have a FB account i've certainly posted here quite a bit, much of it of little use, it's mostly some catty snotty snippy trite little quip. So i guess i'm a bit of a hypocrite, but i hope that i'm a least a funny one.
