Have snow circles been documented?

Still Seeking Samantha
I just listened to an archived Paracast with George Knapp discussing the goings on at the Skinwalker Ranch.

He mentioned there was an "ice circle" found on the grounds there, where apparently a circle was pressed into some wet, swampy ground which then froze, and there were no other tracks or indications of hoaxers at that spot.

That got me wondering about crop circles and whether or not "snow circles" have ever been documented. I live in Wisconsin, where our winters seem to last forever, and the snow just doesn't want to go away. And anything that wanders through your backyard leaves a trail that's visible until the wind or the next snowfall covers it.

It would be much easier for yahoos to secretly go out into the middle of a wheat field and make circles, leaving little evidence of their trespassing behind, but they could never do that in the middle of a snow-covered field.

Thanks for any info. you can provide!

there were photos of ice circles, in moving water, but those were shown to be a natural phenomenon, as the ice formed while the water eddied, and then the ice became a circle. It was really amazing, but that is the closest I have heard to snow circles - other than the ones my brothers used to make with yellow markers...
