Paranormal Novice
Just found this forum!! Like it so far, Just to introduce myself. I'm a skeptic that is totally interested and fascinated by anything paranormal. Do I believe anything? No!!! What I do believe is that it will take a scientific effort to solve some of these issues. I would just like to be a voice to see that it happens. I don't think we have enough resources dedicated to the many different branches of the "paranormal". Hopefully someday science will open their minds and study this fascinating field.

Well it takes money to do anything especially science. The problem in wagging the finger at science for not looking into the paranormal is not only the 'reputation' problem but more importantly the 'funding' problem. To get funding you have to have some probable outcome that would make spending the money make sense to the person or institution you are trying to get the funding from. The solution is for someone with a lot of money who is interested in the paranormal to fund research into it. (scratches chin) Let's see ...can you say "Skin Walker Ranch?" The next problem is something called proprietary information. The person who has forked over his millions to have some paranormal event scientifically investigated isn't going to turn around and "give" that information out freely, they are going to want to see a return on their investment. It all gets down to economics and not "science."
