Hopkinsville Goblin
I quit my job in journalism (I got sick of all the money being thrown at me ) and headed to law school. But that's not what I want to discuss.
In between the career transition I've been investigating sightings throughout rural Western TN and Kentucky.
As far evidence goes, it's the usual. I get a report from a small town about a sighting, go and talk to the source, then go to the law enforcement and either get a verification, no verification, and on one occasion a small town cop told me to my indignation "whatever you're smoking, I want some of it."
Got some shitty photo evidence of some lights in one instance from a source (cell phone pic, bad quality, feel free to question the veracity, as a caveat I will mention that the area being recorded is near a flightpath, but from my own firsthand account, I don't believe those were commercial aircraft).
There are NO streetlights along that highway.
Similar video evidence has come from Crockett County TN, Manchester TN, Fulton Kentucky, and yes, Hopskinville.
The area in question in the video has a bit of a history of these sightings. The local newspaper has an account of a group of young people seeing a bright sphere close to the ground in 1974.
Lots of testimony in the areas I've covered as to the activity. Which apparently has ramped up lately, since sources have started contacting me about it again.
Personally I witnessed and event, which I'm not comfortable sharing with you guys, because it might lead you to think I'm crazier than I already am
I'm still a devoted 'cast listener. Gene's witty segues are becoming a phenomenon unto themselves.
