Hi all, Im Gary from the UK. I'm pretty new to the Paracast - I've only listended to a handful of shows but I'm very impressed with the quality and the format and also the level of credibility by most of the guests that are on the show. Although the ammount of Ad breaks you Americans have are crazy haha
I have only seen one UFO, and that was in Ibiza in the late 90's, I think July/August 1999. It was about 8pm and I was with a group of friends getting ready to go out for the night. We looked out of our Hotel room and we saw about a dozon or so people on the other side of the road, looking back above our Hotel. We were shouting "what are you looking at", as we didn't know what was going on. But I don't think they understood English as no one replied. Anyway, about an hour later we left the Hotel and quickly realised what they were looking at. Just out to see at San Antonio (Near Cafe Mambo etc) was this glowing Orb in the sky. It was stationary and it syatyed there for hours. We must of went into 3 bars and it was still there when we came out, until we came out of one bar about what must of been about between 12.00-1.00am, and it was gone. I do however remember it slowly changing colour throughout the night.
I was only 18 at the time (I'm 31 now) and I distintly remember watching a TV show before we came out, and a DJ was being interviewd, and he said there was loads of UFO sightings out in Ibiza, but I never thought anything of it, until I saw one for myself.
So I'm wondering if anyone here, had heard about a UFO sightings over Ibiza in the late 90's or around that time? This thing must of been witnessed by thousands of people, as it was a really clear night - like most nights in Ibiza, sadly not like UK though haha
Unfortuntely, there were no reference points and I'm not a trained observer, so cannot tell you what angle to the horizon this thing was, but any new's on this would be really much appreciated.
