Well Angelo, I don't know if Chris was being uppity .. but in recent weeks, and I do not mean this in a hostile way, you have increasingly come across as somewhat "smarmy" and taking unnecessary "pot-shots" at things posted here on the forums. Then you wonder why folks seem more irritable and touchy than normal. It is as if you are being "uber-debunkable" just for the sake of it. Just my take on it.

Sorry about that, but I'm saying what I think. There wouldn't be much discussion going on in this place if everyone agreed.

However, I don't know what the fact that I haven't written a book has to do with anything. The truth is that most of those looney lunar theory books are usually poorly edited. Badly edited books are a pet peeve of mine. This is coming from a guy that edited his papers multiple times and had them reviewed by a friend as well. I was really anal about my writing during university. I still am.
 
I agree with Decker, and I also agree with Angelo that if we all agreed we wouldn't have much discussion, BUT I find that if you do not agree with some mods you could get banned.

I disagree with you on so many things pixelsmith, but I wouldn't ban you for a disagreement. I also enjoyed the humour you brought to the Bigfoot thread and I think that the pictures you posted of those insects were wonderful. I also agree with you on computer choice.

I've only banned spammers so far, and I hope it stays that way.

There's nothing for someone to shoot back at me with for my comment. I haven't written any books. However, if i did, I would make sure that they weren't badly edited.

Asshole? 8) I'm not calling you an a-hole I just couldn't resist typing the first thing that came to mind. :cool: But, serioulsy I find myself at odds with fundies (No this isn't aimed at Angel ) be they religous or atheist. I just honestly think there is more to the universe that we don't know than what we do know. I just don't buy the "meatbot" thing or the little green men or grey alien thing. But, I'll keep watching the skies.
 
Regarding the Hole in the Moon.... its the cave of the Moon Bats....It isn't really there, NASA just wants you to THINK its there to divert your attention from what is REALLY there that they don't want you to know about. Get it? Remember the Maine?!? I am the Keeper of the Cheese and you are the Lemon Merchant.... and HE KNOWS IT!! Don't worry little missy, I"LL SAVE YOU!!!

I find all this speculation to be much more fun than Galileo and Bruno did.


Dr. Vallee has a page from a comic book framed in his office. It features a couple of scientists mulling over various formulae and theories and the last frame has one of them declaring "Vallee was right!!!"" He pointed that out to me once and it seemed so silly it had me chuckling through the whole meeting...
