Here are some of my thoughts on Greer and the others, going back as far or farther than Adamski.
It has long been my contention that very little of "this" is what "this" appears to be. We've got ships that appear to actually change shape and/or size in midflight, alien entities that come and go from locked structures at will-as if through walls. . .etc. We could all go on ad nauseum with some of the more astounding things we've heard, some of these descriptions coming from cases that we feel could quite possibly be true.
Why do we not consider the idea that whatever lies (or is that "lay") behind this phenomena can engage in a long-term campaign that actively uses some human beings- giving them just enough to create a small number of converts- through entire human lifetimes?
What if Greer's and Strieber's only role in this opera absurd is plant little bits of information, some "true" some not, convert a few hundred thousand and have a bit of a trickle effect thoughout society?
Suppose they have had some form of contact (running the spectrum from sighting to abduction), but that contact was merely to lay the groundwork to use them as some sort of dupes or conduits in the future.
Maybe Greer, Strieber, Adamski and a myriad of others arn't clowns at all but playing a role that was designed for them. . .
I've raised these points before and I apologize if there are those running for their airsick bags. It just seems to me that we've seen time and again that nothing about this is "real" in a sense that it can be defined or even really observed in the classic sense without it altering itself. . .and this is to say nothing of how it has shifted it's image and behavior over decades and centuries. Go back and read the airship reports. . .doesn't all sound like bullshit to me. Sounds a lot like a phenomena that is cloaking itself and constantly shifting for reasons we don't understand and the contactees, visionaries and witness' are only bit players in the opera. The real action is going on backstage and we may dismiss Greer and the others at our own peril. Yes, there are a shitload of hucksters out there (anyone need a cute puppy?) but what if some of these people have a minute clue to what the hell this is all about or leads us to the next one?

Why do Ritzmann and Jeremy do so much to promote Greer? Is Greer paying them or are they exploring their issues publicly? They are starting to appear oh so queer in their Greer adoration. It's starting to sound like a George Michael thing. Gross.
