Hi there ... rather new to the Paracast discussion forums though have been listening to The Paracast for some time now. Thought I would throw in a thought for a future guest.

Anyway, how about (Dr.) Joseph P. Farrell as a future guest? He's done some (fairly mindboggling) research into what the Nazis were doing at the end of WW2 regarding anti-gravity research etc.. If he's right about what they came up with (see his books "Reich of the Black Sun" and "SS Brotherhood of the Bell"), he might have a part-explanation for the UFO phenomenon.

He's also written some books on the Pyramids at Giza which put forward the theory that they were an ancient "Death Star" (see "The Giza DeathStar" etc) ... which could lead on from what Dennis Balthasar was talking about recently.

Anyway, Dr Farrell has also been a guest on a number of podcasts such as Radio Misterioso (Greg Bishop's programme) ... so is not unknown in the world of the para-radio-logical.

So ... I think it would be really interesting to see Gene and David discuss Dr Farrell. Maybe even cover some of the possible political implications of his Nazi research (Paperclip, leeching of Nazi philosophy into the US body politic, whether Dr Farrell is just pushing the notion forward that the Nazis were further advanced in such areas since they were the "master race"???) as well as the stranger connections such as the possible Admiral Byrd trip down to Antartica in 1947 ...

Anyway, just some thoughts for your thought perusal :P

Best wishes

Joseph Farrell appeared on Charles Guiliani's program on the Republic Broadcasting Network this week talking about his new book "The Cosmic War". Absolutely mind-bending stuff about ancient high technology that may have been responsible for destroying the planet that formed the asteroid belt (!?!) plus lots of other really mind boggling stuff.

Interviewer was a bit ho-hum (you could hear him typing through most of the questions and answers ... i hate that in interviews on the net) but Dr Farrell was, as always, incredibly interesting.

Download the program from here:

Go to the Tuesday, October 30th show to download mp3s of the program.

p.s. oh and beware of the crackpot callers in to the programme ... what the heck are these people on??

Exactly ... thats what I thought. Horrible yellow unfunny creatures. Give me Aqua Teen Hunger Force anyday. At least they have incomprehensible talking meatballs which are soooo difficult to listen to you have to put the subtitles on when watching a DVD of this fabulously strange series :D ... end sentence, take deep breath ... and continue ...

Oh and XMC ... cool or what?. Dubbed over Japanese people, lots of smut and people hurting themselves in many a funny fashion ... sighhh ... what fun.

Simpsons?? Schminsons ...

Seriously though, I think Dr Farrell really is onto something with his Nazi secret weapon stuff. Nick Cook (long time associated with Janes Defence Weekly, no fruitcake and writer of "The Hunt for Zero Point" (which is a fantastic mindblowing book by the way)) is of the same mind ... as well as the top honcho at the American Antigravity website who has written articles leading on from Dr Farrells research.

However, I still think that Dr Farrells ideas surrounding torsion fields is an avenue to be explored by those who can (my maths is somewhat rusty after studying Astrophysics at the University of Edinburgh many moons ago :D) ... and research in this field may come up with an explanation as to why people like The Simpsons like they do. I think its worth a try :D

XMC still on? I used to watch it. Some were quite good.

I'm not familiar with Farrell. Will Farrell, but not the Doc. His ideas sound familiar though.

Btw. Why do they leave out the E for elimination in XMC? They eliminated it, hmm.

And the M is in the wrong place.

Bugger ... got the letters round the wrong way. It should have read "MXC" :D ... but somehow XMC feels better strangely enough.

Anyway, we're just getting XMC down here in New Zealand now. It may not still be going but the series (5 of them according to wikipedia) are now apparently coming out on DVD ... Praise The Lord Our Family Babaganoosh.

Anyone for a quick game of "Sinkers & Floaters" ... or "Impassable Stones of Mount McKidney" ... nahh ... thought not :D

This guy's interview wish Bishop was really interesting. I didn't think there was any way I was going to come close to entertaining the thought that the Nazi's had anything like UFOs. He lays it out in a Richard Dolan ian kinda way that makes his research seems quite credible. Especially with the whole 'the Nazi's had the bomb before the American's'

From what I can gather from the Bishop interview his recent alignment with Richard HO-gland is a way for him to sell more books to the toast to toast people.

Get him on!

I've made this request a couple of times myself. Farrell is one of the few current UFO researchers who isn't committed to any particular brand of orthodox cant, although some of his theories relating to Nazis and flying saucers strike me as being a fantastic stretch of the facts beyond the limits of reason and evidence.
I'd especially enjoy hearing a presentation of his research on "the bell" secret weapon project.

Yeah, I think it would be great. If nothing else he does a great interview and lays out the groundwork and builds up to 'Yeah Nazis may in the flying saucers' I like how he gets into the technologies they were supposedly using. It is a pretty fantastic claim.

Perhaps this will convince you http://www.ironsky.net/site/?p=16

What I really like about Dr Farrell is that he genuinely seems as surprised as anyone with the things he has uncovered about The Bell project, and what the Germans were up to at the end of WW2.

And some of his stories are just as fantastic as some of the UFO stories I've heard from people being interviewed on The Paracast and other places. But he's not a fruitcake (like Dr G, Mr H et al) as far as I have gleaned from the interviews I've heard with him, and I think he would make a fascinating guest on The Paracast ... so here's hoping ...

I agree completely. I know little about his whole take on the Giza pyramid though.

I wrote an amazing answer to this but of course it disappeared into the ether ... again (never happened with the old forum :P).

His take on the Giza plateau is that it formed the basis for an ancient weapon of mass destruction: a so called scalar weapon. According to Dr Farrell it played its part in a great war of some sort a long time ago.

I haven't read any of his books on the Pyramids yet so can't go into more detail than that unfortunately.

Dr. Farrell's books seem very interesting---but be careful... If you think Hoagland is a nutter (personally, I love listening to him), be warned, he and Farrell are working on the follow-up to Dark Mission together (according to Farrell's web site). Of course, then again, not only did Dark Mission hit the NYT best seller list, but The recent Mac Tonnies show on the Paracast basically laughed heartily at Hoagland, and then quickly embraced most of his Mars theories...

I have to put my vote in for Dr. Farrell as a guest. He seems really intelligent, thoughtful, and would be a good fit for the show.

But, reconsider having Dick on the show. At least once. I mean, if you can have Greer on, you can have Hoagland on. He talks more, and is more fun to listen to ;)

Question: does Hoagland still have his beard?? If he does well he would be interesting to have on The Paracast since:

(1) He would be more "value for money" (Greer does not have a beard)
(2) His beard may be a mystical one (see Billy Meier)
(3) His name is longer (see (1) above)
(4) He is widely in love with Mars ... which is the name of chocolate bar. This in itself should keep David Biedny happy since we know he loves chocolate :D
(5) I'll go away now ... my supply of coffee is running out :D
