This one is on me. Don was ready to go, butI was down with an abcessed tooth that reared its ugly head Friday. I tried to get ready, but was too affected to see it through. Spent Saturday afternoon in the dentist chair. Wussy West-coaster, Ricky, what can I say?

a 3% mixture of "Food Grade" Hydrogen Peroxide swished around in your mouth a couple times a day for about a week might help that abscess. I saved a tooth last summer doing that. you can get food grade HP at a health food store or local food co-op.

Thanks, Pixel--its the result of a 'failed implant'. Bone infection in area above front tooth. got me on a killer antibiotic. Its improving, thank God.

I found this scrawled in the note section of an old Field Guide a couple of days too late to be of service to you. My apologies.

Field Dentistry 101.
Required Equipment: A small reflective surface (mirror, knife blade, etc.), pliers and 1 quart of Tequila.
Procedure: 1. Apply Tequila internally. 2 Attempt to hold mirror/knife steady and extract tooth with pliers. 3. Apply remaining Tequila to resulting wound(s).

I don't have any recollection of attempting this myself but steps 1 and 3 may explain that.
 
I tried to talk him into using "Apple-Jack" but he "wussied" out. Said it gave him a Hhhead-ackey". What ya gonna do?
