I Know What I Saw - latest update.

Hats off to mr. James Fox.

The latest update from James from yesterday's interview on Angelia Joiner's show:

You can hear the personal price of the movie that James had to pay at arround 36th minute in to the interview.

There are many information there so I am strongly recommending the listening of the whole interview.

Angelia has already seen the movie twice. Currently it is reviewed with the media executives - the option about theatrical release is still open.

The trailer will be online next week - this will be the official website

Updates about the movie will be probably mentioned on Larry King on upcoming July 3rd show.

Best Wishes.

Thanks for posting this uforadio.

Listening now. I gotta say, the one person that gives me hope and makes me excited for the future is James Fox. Right now he is the dude.

Cant wait to see the new film and whos on board and associating their name with the project.

Great stuff.

David, did you see it recently, or was it like 6 months ago? Just curious, as on the Joiner show James was saying that the film is done and that its getting some amazing reviews.

So just curious if your assessment was of the final work, or a rough cut from say 6 months ago.

What he said about buzz was very interesting. It comes down to two things. Buzz lying, or james lying. James comes across as a very honest person, not the sort of person who would lie about something like that, in my opinion.

If Buzz ever considered the possibility of a UFO by definition - he has now decided for sure that it is not a UFO any more.

The media controversy has started with the Science Channel documentary where Buzz has mentioned for the first time publicly that they "saw something". The relevant transcript is available here:

http://www.ufoevidence.org/cases/case592.htm

I am pasting here only statements from Buzz (without the narrator words because now Buzz claims that they missinterpreted him)...but this is what Buzz says in original:

--- start of quote ---

Buzz Aldrin: There was something out there that, uh, was close enough to be observed and what could it be?

Aldrin: Mike (Collins) decided he thought he could see it in the telescope and he was able to do that and when it was in one position, that had a series of ellipses, but when you made it real sharp it was sort of L shaped. That didn't tell us very much.

Aldrin: Now, obviously, the three of us were not going to blurt out, 'Hey Houston we got something moving along side of us and we don't know what it is, you know, can you tell us what it is?'. We weren't about to do that, cause we know that those transmissions would be heard by all sorts of people and who knows what somebody would have demanded that we turn back because of Aliens or whatever the reason is, so we didn't do that but we did decide we'd just cautiously ask Houston where, how far away was the S-IVB?

Aldrin: And a few moments later, why they came back and said something like it was 6,000 miles away because of the maneuver, so we really didn't think we were looking at something that far away, so we decided that after a while of watching it, it was time to go to sleep and not to talk about it anymore until we came back and (went through) debriefing.

--- end of quote ---

Few interesting comment by dr. David Baker from the same show:

Dr. David Baker (Apollo 11 Senior Scientist): NASA knew very little about, um, the object reported by the Apollo 11 crew. It was obviously an unidentified flying object, but such objects were not uncommon and the history of even earth orbit space flights going back over the previous years indicated that several crews saw objects.

Dr. David Baker: There were a lot of people within the program who went off later and became convinced that UFOs existed and that lead to some concern on NASA's part where they got the agreement of the crew never to publicly talk about these things for fear of ridicule.

--- end of quote ---

That was probably the reason why Buzz was called on Larry King show on Jully 13, 2007 in the first place (the same show was later broadcasted two more times in August and September). There Buzz was confronted with Fox in the same studio. Between the commercial breaks Fox tried to remind Buzz about their meeting in Monte Carlo but Buzz says that he can't remember. Fife Symington was aware of the story and suggested to Fox that go easy on him in the live program because Buzz is a "american icon" so Fox never confronted Buzz on the camera about their conversation in Monte Carlo.

Also it seems that UFO story by Buzz has now become the story of the rocket panels.

Those are the relevant quotes:

Source: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0708/04/lkl.01.html

BUZZ ALDRIN, FORMER ASTRONAUT/APOLLO 11: What did I see? Well, we -- the first day out, maybe six hours after launch, we were scheduled to make a mid-course correction. And I'd like to show you a few things in this rocket just to point out the condition that we were in. During launch, this boost protective cover comes off, hopefully not with the command module attached. And then the first stage drops off, the second stage drops off. Unfortunately, I can't take this apart, but there's the third stage and inside is the lunar module. And this is the command and service module.

Once after going in orbit and a half around the earth we fire for five minutes, this engine here, and we head toward the moon. Now shortly after that, we separate the command and service module. And it turns around like this. And it docks with the lunar module. I'm going to have to be pretty ambidextrous.

KING: Are we getting to a UFO?

ALDRIN: We're getting to that, yes.

KING: I only ask in view of time.

ALDRIN: I know.

<SNIP>

KING: And what did you see?

ALDRIN: And I saw a light out there, OK. This is after we had witnessed the upper stage rocket next to us make an evasive maneuver to miss the moon. Later missions, it crashed into the moon so that we could determine the seismic effect of crashing into the moon.

KING: So you saw a light?

ALDRIN: So we saw a light and we thought, I wonder what that is. You know there are a lot of lights out there when you're not looking in the direction of the sun. There are a lot of stars. And they're all fixed relative to each other.

KING: What was unusual...

ALDRIN: Now when one of them starts moving or it's moving, and we know that that's another object. It's not a star.

KING: Stars don't move?

ALDRIN: Well, they move but they're so damn far away that...

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How long did it follow you for?

ALDRIN: Exactly. That's why I started to do this.

Now, we know that if we were to say, Houston, we've a light out the window. It going along with us, heading for the moon. A lot of these guys are going to go ape, you know. And it's really going to endanger the mission and occupy a lot of our time trying to explain what's going on.

KING: All right.

ALDRIN: So we very shrewdly, Neil did, said, "Houston, where is the upper stage?" They didn't know right away. But they said we'll check with the guys in the back room. The guys in the back room in 10 minutes came back and said, "It's 6,000 miles away." Well, we figured that's not what we're looking at. So we started thinking a little bit more about these four panels. And I'd seen a graph where it showed the separation distance that was calculated before liftoff, before the whole mission went of where these panels would be in case the spacecraft made some maneuver. And they guaranteed there would be no contact.

KING: Buzz, what did you see?

ALDRIN: What did I see during the flight?

KING: Yes, you saw...

ALDRIN: We saw one of the four panels, the 99.999. And these are three guys who have flown in space twice and have looked out at the stars and all sorts of things, so believe...

--- end of quotes ---

According to wikipedia entry the same thing happened during the Howard Stern Show - he again mentioned rocket panels. His stand is that his words were taken out of context from the Science Channel people.

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buzz_Aldrin

When Aldrin appeared on The Howard Stern Show on August 15, 2007, Stern asked him about the supposed UFO sighting. Aldrin confirmed that there was no such sighting of anything deemed extraterrestrial, and said they were and are "99.9 percent" sure that the object was the detached panel. Interviewed by the Science Channel, Aldrin mentioned seeing unidentified objects, and he claims his words were taken out of context; he asked the Science Channel to clarify to viewers he did not see a UFO, but they refused.

--- end of quote ---

By the way after the Larry King appearance on July 2007, Fox was able to obtain by one source the 16mm film from Apollo 11 with the alleged incident. In January 2008. Fox was still considering to contact Buzz again (and to include the obtained film if he gets Buzz on camera) but you can hear in Angelia's show how his last conversation with Buzz ended.

Fox has told the Buzz Aldrin story on the Paracast numerous times, so I have no doubt it's absolutely true.

I agree...The problem is probably with Buzz who can't decide what path he will take...it seems he is now 180...even his sister is confused with his twists (as she was one of the first sources of the story).
