IDEA TO IMPROVE THE SHOW

I have a very simple idea that I think could improve some shows. It is very simple and easy to implement.

When a show airs, why not sometimes have a page including any photos or diagrams etc that are numbered and the show can mention this so the listener can, if they like, refer to the same images as the hosts/guests are talking about.

For example: When talking about crop circle formations, the experience is greatly improved if the listener can look at the formations that are being discussed.

This would work for anything with pictures of course but also sometimes simple diagrams, maps and the like could be utilised too?

This in no way would be actually required for listening enjoyment but is an option for those interested. I know I would use such a thing and many other listeners would agree?

Just a suggestion!

Gordon.

Right now we have links to a guest's site, where they might have such information available. But it's a good idea, and maybe something we can expand upon -- again if the guest has the photos and other graphics to offer. That doesn't always happen.

I agree---good idea and there is a good likelihood that we can do what you've suggested for some shows that mention visual and/or scientific data.

Glad you both agree. Obviously allowing for time and relevant images from or for guests, it could really add an extra dimension to some shows in terms of the audience actually participating. Often there have been shows and guests (and hosts) have mentioned something and I've thought 'I'd love to have pictures of that to look at now'.
