I've just received the sad news that Budd Hopkins died Sunday afternoon, August 21. I didn't know him all that well, but in my occasional discussions with him, he was always a gentleman.
You'll find the information at the Intruders Foundation site:

According to Leslie Kean: "Budd had been under hospice care for about three weeks, at his home in New York. The combination of liver cancer and pneumonia led to his death."
When Leslie recorded this week's episode, she obviously knew about Budd's condition and was under tremendous emotional pressure, but remained a trouper and did a great interview.
And let's please keep this thread civil, folks. There will be plenty of time in which to evaluate Budd's abduction research and its value to the field. We are for example, considering an episode on the subject in the very near future.
Thanks.
