Col. Halt interviewed by Rayl re the Rendlesham Forest Incident:
Halt:” I wish I hadn’t gotton involved in this. Nobody’s going to believe me.”
Halt on Burroughs and Penniston:” They were quite concerned...I think they were quite worried. I know they were concerned about losing their security clearance or their jobs.”
Rayl:” Now, why would they be worried about that?”
Halt: “ Because they weren’t sure anyone anybody would believe them
Rayl: :So, UFOs are not exactly a subject for open conversation?”
Halt: “No....”
Reporting a UFO incident could result in losing your job and ending your career. You’d be harassed until you changed your story. You’d be awaken at 3 AM for interrogation. You’d be branded a liar and never have a career.
Your options: If you see something “unworldly” you never speak of it...never go on record...never open your mouth. If your forced to speak, fudge it...filter it...make it sound vague...just say you saw lights, no more.
It’s probable that beams of light landed in the WSA and some guards did not report it. Those that did were later debriefed and forced to recant their stories. It was the night after that the SP log, plans and Blotter went missing. There were too many names and so little space. NSA agents debriefed and put a lock on the situation by threatening, intimidating and in some cases, drugging the cooperative and the uncooperative and transferred many of those involved back to the States within weeks of the UFO landing.
Those having a close encounter with a UFOs have their security rating upgraded. Once upgraded, it’s a courtmarshall offense to discuss them. If a UFO is encountered, no base alert is sounded. There is a silent and selective distribution of resources to address it. No weapons allowed. It’s almost like there is an unwritten protocol that must be adhered to.
