Ingo Swan has passed on

Free episodes:

Sad to hear of this. There just wasn't/isn't a bigger name in remote viewing. I understand he was quite an artist too (well in fact, he was that before RV).

Nice phot too Don, it looks like you are buddies, no forced sentiment for the camera etc.

That photo was taken at an Italian eatery in Burbank Calf. Goggs. We had dinner that evening, shared a couple bottles of wine and had a fascinating chat for about 4 1/2 hours. That was a memorable evening. We discussed his book Penetration, my lunar research, remote viewing .. the entire enchilada. That was a night I will remember.

Decker

You see Don, it's little stories like that, that have us salivating in jealously and we we tune into DMR to get the real low-down on a lot of these subjects.

I can imagine it was memorable indeed - I, for one, would absolutely have loved to share a meal/wine with Ingo and just listen!

Yip, lucky you Don, lucky you. I can imagine you feeling a bit more at the passing of someone who you were that familiar with.

What always get's me about Ingo, is that he comes across so blase' and laid-back, as if all this stuff he was involved in was no big deal! I suppose like me, you also were extremely interested in his RVing of the moon etc?

Roughly 10 years ago, or so, I was invited to give a talk in Bordentown, NJ on my lunar research. I did not know Ingo then, did know who he was however, and was quite surprised when he traveled down from NYC to see me give the presentation. We chatted afterwards and he told me he had family in Calf. and might call me when he was out there. I guess it was a couple years later, not sure how long, but he then got in touch when he was out here. We made arrangements on where we would meet and then got together.

I really grilled Ingo on his book Penetration. There were two things that I really wanted to know, his incident with the alleged "ET woman" he bumped into in Santa Monica and the RV session he did on the Moon. He wanted to know about my research on the Moon. I got the impression that the Moon stuff had totally enraptured him. I remember telling him that if my psychic ability were measured I couldn't get out of my chair and he looked at me in a odd way and said "sure." Then he asked me about when I was a cop and how often I got "hunches". I told him and then he smirked and said "yea, you sure don't have any ability, do ya?"

The world truly is a lesser place today.

Decker

Talking about Santa Monica, is that not where the RAND group have an office? I wonder what they might have had to do with RV? They strike me as the kind of organisation who would be very involved in that, with people like Ingo.

And I agree, that the world has lost a true and fascination character/pioneer. But in reality his name will be known for as long as humans do this thing called Remote Viewing. I can imagine an application-text book-hologram-personal computer, being used one hundred years from now, with it stating, 'Ingo Swann' was one of the foremost pioneers of remote viewing....'

wow shocking news Don. From all accounts everyone has said he was probably the most gifted natural Psychic they ever met. Hope he is at peace now.

To Decker and others here who knew Ingo personally, please accept my sincere sympathy. I've read so much of his writing that I feel I also knew him personally, and I lament our general loss of his presence here. It will be many years before there is wide enough appreciation for his extraordinary gifts and contributions to our understanding of ourselves, but I think they eventually will be fully appreciated and understood. In addition to his brilliant intelligence and wit, he seems to have been a completely wonderful, adorable, human being, and I have no doubt he is now a wonderful, adorable, posthuman being.

Thanks Constance .. appreciate the remarks. If you get a chance please listen to the interview I just conducted with Jerry Wills on Ingo. You may find it of interest.

Decker

I will do that as soon as I can, Decker. I have to replace my broken speakers first. Thanks for calling the interview to my attention.

I like the photo you posted of Ingo and you. I've watched many videos of Ingo's presentations at conferences and always hoped to meet him. Maybe later.

I know for those who are very skeptic alot of the things Jerry has to say may seem like a stretch. I have listened to some other interviews with him and he doesn't come off as someone trying to mislead. He believes what he says wether or not he can do these things or has the history he says is not proven but it would be hard to prove. Although it has not been proven false. Jerry is one of those guys you have to listen and decide for yourself. I do not know what to say about Jerry and I think Don did a great job asking the questions. If you want to see some of Jerry's expedition videos you can watch them free here: Xpeditions TV

I listen to Jerry but I don't believe or/disbelieve him I don't fall into the trap of being a nut but I dont want to be micheal shermer. This is the line all of us walk I guess.

well said Ryan.

I listened to the show, and quite frankly it was a push to believe in.
