Paranormal Adept
I read somewhere on these threads about a book called Penatration by Ingo Swann. The book is out of print and from what I can find very expensive. Anyway, I got lucky the other day and downloaded it via limewire bit torret. I assume it's safe since it now is in my adobe reader and I've just started it. I don't know about downloading stuff like this since I don't want to "steal" work but I really coulnd't part with $300 for a used book. Anyone else have any experience with bit torrents? I don't know much about them.

You're speaking Greek to me with the techy mumbo jumbo, but I downloaded the book on Adobe a good while back. No problema.

If I understand it correctly, Swann had no objection to the book being uploaded to the net since he never plans to republish. But I also own a copy of the book so I didn't feel I was in trouble in the first place.

I'll let you know but I gotta tell ya I haven't gotten into it yet. Not because it isn't good but because I havn't taken the time to settle in and read it. But I do intend to. I'm interested in what you and others think of it also.

I am halfway through Penetration, which can be downloaded from the internet on a site called Scribd.com. Swann's claims certainly are far out, although I have always found him to be credible for some reason. I believe it is uncontroversial that he was involved with SRI, and had a level of governmental clearance.

I always thought that a number of very logical, reasonable questions remain unanswered about the moon and the lunar missions. If correct, Swann's remote viewing observations explain why. I am enjoying the book certainly for entertainment value (although I doubt Swann ever anticipated making much money from it).

After finishing this I am going to try to find a hard copy of George Leonard's book on the moon, which Swann references in Penetration.

If it's true that Swann doesn't mind the book being shared...people can download the pdf directly to hard drive from the link below. I'm not wholly convinced by the Swann narrative, but he's hard to dismiss when some decent UFO researchers hold him in apparent high esteem. I know Don Ecker, Jacques Vallee and Terry Hansen give him respect.

That's a book which should be on Kindle!

i've read most of it, and its an interesting read. Swann makes some seriously 'out-there' claims, and of course there is no evidence to back it up, but it makes an interesting read whether you read it as fact or fiction. Its not particularly well written, in scholarly terms... but I found that I got the same sort of enjoyment from it as I did from 'The Da Vinci code'.... i.e. could be fact, could be fiction.... but fun to think about either way.

Here is a photo of Ingo and I several years ago at an Italian restaurant in Burbank Calf. He was in California to visit family and called my wife and I up. He wanted to discuss the Moon research I had been doing and we had a very memorable dinner.

Remember, this is the guy that set up the protocols for the military's remote viewing project. Yes, I have a lot of respect for him.
